Class Attire

Appropriate attire is very important as it allows coaches to fully assess body placement and ensures that athletes aren't limited in their mobility and can properly execute all movements easily!  We ask that all students come to class ready to participate and consider the following:

For Female Students:

Tap – Black short sleeve or sleeveless bodysuit, beige dance tights, black fitted dance shorts or capri leggings. Tap shoes are required for this class, exact shoe style will be provided upon registration

Baton - Black short sleeve or sleeveless bodysuit (no long sleeves as it makes some skills more difficult), beige dance tights and black fitted dance shorts/capris, tan split sole jazz shoes

Acro - Black short sleeve or sleeveless bodysuit (no long sleeves as it makes some skills more difficult), black fitted dance shorts/capris, beige footless dance tights are optional

Ballet – Black bodysuit, pink ballet tights, pink leather ballet slippers, ballet skirt (optional)

Hip Hop - students may wear loose fitting clothing, something easy to move in that they feel comfortable dancing in.  Clean white or black  indoor running shoes or dance sneakers are required

Musical Theatre – black bodysuit, beige dance tights, black fitted dance shorts or capri leggings, black split sole jazz shoes

Mini & Mighty Movers – pink bodysuit, pink ballet tights, pink leather ballet shoes, ballet skirt (optional)

Dance with Me – Comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Parents, please bring a pair of clean inside shoes to wear in the studio. Littles, may choose to wear dance clothing or any clothing that they can easily jump, hop and spin in. Ballet slippers, bare feet or clean indoor runners are acceptable

For Male Students:

Fitted white tank top or t-shirt, black fitted shorts or leggings, shoes dependent on class requirements.

All students:

-Hair should be neatly fastened off the face, entirely back in a bun or ponytail.

-If a club jacket is not purchased, new twirlers and dancers should be prepared to wear an all-black jacket for performances/competitions/community events.

We recommend purchasing dance attire locally at The Dance Box or Limbers Dance wear. FB marketplace is a good option for budget friendly second hand options
